What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Coleys Inc.?
JOB DETAILS:
- Shift: 1st
- Hours: 5:30am - 4:00pm
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, possible OT on Friday
- Coleys is a climate-controlled facility
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs unscheduled CNC maintenance tasks as directed
- Performs scheduled CNC preventative maintenance tasks according to established maintenance schedule as time permits
- Performs routine maintenance and repair on the facility and CNC equipment to include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures
- Maintains a work area free of hazardous conditions, i.e., grease/oil spills, excess supplies, equipment, etc., to ensure that all established safety rules/regulations are followed at all times
- Follows established policies governing the use of labels and MSDS and the proper handling of materials
- Ensures that work/assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored before leaving such areas at the end of workday, etc.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during work-shift
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Education – HS Diploma or equivalent GED
- CNC Maintenance experience
- High Technical and Mechanical Aptitude
- Working knowledge of and ability to use mechanical, electrical, and measuring tools
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Work with little to no supervision
