Driver – Job Description
NO CDL REQUIRED. We are seeking a full-time Driver for our warehouse operations. You must have the ability to work 1st shift and have a good attendance record. A strong record of success in moving material in and out of a production environment is essential to this position.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver orders to various customers/vendors by driving truck to designated destination. Candidate will apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area according to state law.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
· Efficiently utilize all given resources to provide a safe and highly efficient operation that can adapt to changing priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining excellent customer service.
· Pack all out-going shipments for safe and secure loads.
· Verify load and piece count against shipping documents.
· Inspect and sign for incoming parts/material. Check for condition and correct quantity.
· Load/unload trucks & operate forklift.
· Coordinate scrap material out of production to designated areas.
· Computer Skills a plus (Familiar with Microsoft Office Programs a plus)

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with no points.
Forklift experience is a must.
Previous Driving Experience minimum 3-5 years
Time Management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
Warehouse Experience - Previous shipping/receiving experience a plus.
Customer Service – able to communicate effectively verbally or in writing.
Understanding GPS & Maps.
Driver must have experience with driving different vehicles (Box truck/Flat Bed)
Maintain vehicle repairs as needed on all vehicles as well as keeping vehicles clean
Ensure that the vehicles are always fueled and ready for use.
Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
The candidate must be motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to take direction well.
Safely secure load using tie down materials with solid straps. Safety First.
