Coles Marketing is seeking a Digital Advertising Strategist to strengthen our digital team and help clients solve complex marketing challenges.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will work directly on the development, implementation and optimization of digital marketing and advertising strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients.
The right candidate is analytical, curious and motivated to prove what they can do. You should be comfortable developing the strategy, digging into the data and managing the day-to-day details required to improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital marketing and advertising strategies for a portfolio of clients
- Plan, manage and optimize paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Strategize and oversee paid search, remarketing, display, online video and location-based advertising campaigns
- Review campaign performance and identify actionable opportunities for improvement
- Conduct keyword, audience, competitor and market research
- Apply SEO knowledge to support broader digital marketing strategies
- Clearly communicate campaign results, insights and recommendations
- Serve as an internal digital advertising resource and help strengthen the digital knowledge of the Coles Marketing team
- Think creatively, act strategically and take ownership of results
Qualifications
- Experience developing and managing digital advertising campaigns
- Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate data into clear recommendations and next steps
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to be involved in daily campaign execution
- Knowledge of SEO tactics and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certification is preferred
