We clean carpeting, area rugs, most hard floors, and upholstery and draperies, as well as performing water and smoke damage restoration. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to add to our team for on-site cleanings and work at our shop. At Coleman Carpet Cleaners, a Technician who provides exceptional customer service can earn in excess of $21 per hour plus bonuses and commissions!

Job Duties (including but not limited to):

• Assist the Team leader in all duties necessary to provide quality cleaning
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning
• Assist in cleaning when Team leader is performing other job responsibilities
• Apply protection and deodorizers; or agents and color seal to carpet and furniture or tile and grout
• Finish out carpeting (rake) after cleaning and other services. Account for and return all cleaning tools and cleaning agents, hoses, chemicals, etc. to the truck before departure from the customer's home
• Clean vehicle at end of each day
• Proper inventory of blocks, pads, spotting agents and retail items on truck
• Inform customers about and up-sell additional services we provide
• Uphold all company safety policies, Best Practices and procedures

Responsibilities and Duties

Physical demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or listen.
• The employee is required to drive or ride in a cleaning van or other vehicle. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications and Skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Cheerful with fellow employees and customers
• Reliable and punctual
• Understand that friendly customer service is the most important aspect of our business
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record (must be insurable and able to drive any of our fleet vehicles)
• Flexibility in action and appointment scheduling a must in this position
• No experience required: we’re happy to train you!

Job Type:

• Full-time or Part-time
• Hours of business:
• Monday thru Friday, 8:00 to 4:30
• Some flex time after hours and on weekends required on occasion

Pay: $21.00--$25.00 per hour, depending upon experience

Benefits:

• 6 Paid holidays
• Paid vacation time (1 week in 1st year, 2 weeks thereafter)
• 5 days of sick pay annually
