Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and legal services to contractors, design professionals, developers, and individuals in disputes involving defect claims, torts, contractual issues, and other construction-related matters.
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue dispositive motions
- Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
- Prepare pleadings and correspondence
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
