We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repair, and general garden upkeep
- Manage construction tasks such as site preparation, grading, planting beds, hardscaping, and installation of landscape features
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Provide guidance on tree care, horticulture practices, and sustainable landscaping techniques
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues promptly, and communicate updates effectively to clients and management
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment focused on teamwork, quality craftsmanship, and safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or related fields with a strong background in landscape maintenance and gardening
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, horticulture principles, and general landscape maintenance techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide crew members effectively
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to landscaping equipment and construction sites
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution and client satisfaction
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing weather conditions and project demands
