Paraprofessional

The Cole County R-V School District in Eugene, MO is seeking a paraprofessional to work with students with exceptional needs at the district level. Special Education paraprofessionals assist the teacher in general daily classroom activities, help special needs students, and care for students’ physical, emotional, and safety needs by affirming their abilities and striving to promote dignity in all relationships. As a paraprofessional, you will impact a student's learning and success daily.

This position works within the special education department and includes benefits, holiday breaks, and pay starting at $16.37 per hour. This position will be open for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in September 2026.

Qualifications to be a Paraprofessional:

An individual will be eligible if they have ANY ONE of the following:

• 60 college hours
• Associate degree or higher
• Passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment

OR

• Completed Missouri 20-hour online Substitute Teaching Training
