Job Summary
The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is accepting applications for the position of Legal Assistant/Child Support Technician. Our office is located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Applicants will be required to: Initiate cases, prepare court documents in criminal and civil cases, communicate with parties on daily basis, manage cases for child support collection, work with State Child Support Enforcement and attend hearings with attorney.
Applicant should possess: Proficiency in Windows and Word processing, and ability to learn new computer programs, including MO Automated Child Support System; strong attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills; time management and organizational skills with the capacity to multi-task; ability to deal with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Starting Salary $36,500 plus, commensurate with experience. Position available immediately.
