What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at Coldwell Banker Legacy Group?
Coldwell Banker Legacy Group is a growing real estate company serving South Central Kentucky and surrounding markets. We believe great marketing goes beyond promoting properties, it tells stories, builds relationships, showcases our community, supports our agents, and helps our company continue to grow.
Innovation is an important part of where we're headed. From video and social media to AI and emerging technology, we're looking for new ways to connect with our audience and stay ahead of a rapidly changing industry.
Coldwell Banker Legacy Group is seeking a full-time Marketing Director to join our Bowling Green team.
This is a hands-on creative role combining social media, video production, content creation, digital marketing, recruiting support, photography, analytics, and emerging technology.
A major focus will be creating original content that people actually want to watch. We want to move beyond simply posting listings and build an attraction-based marketing strategy centered around our agents, properties, neighborhoods, local businesses, community, and company culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and grow our presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Create approximately five original videos/Reels each week
- Develop property tours, community features, local business spotlights, agent interviews, recruiting content, educational content, and more
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish social content
- Track performance and test new ideas to determine what drives reach, engagement, leads, and inquiries
- Support company recruiting through campaigns, video, graphics, agent spotlights, and culture-focused content
- Research and test emerging AI, marketing, and technology tools
- Become an in-house expert on BoldPorch and assist with onboarding and training
- Create agent headshots and other photography as needed; training can be provided
- Manage content for the company's exterior digital sign
- Participate in company, networking, and community events to identify and capture content opportunities
This is primarily an in-office position, but we don't expect all of the marketing to happen from behind a desk. You'll have opportunities to get into the community, visit local businesses, attend events, market properties, and find the stories worth telling.
We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, technology-driven, curious, and eager to learn.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has experience or education in marketing, communications, social media, digital media, graphic design, video production, or a related area
- Understands social media and has an interest in short-form video
- Has strong written communication and visual storytelling skills
- Is comfortable learning new technology and experimenting with AI tools
- Can manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- Works well independently while collaborating with a larger team
- Is willing to analyze results, adjust strategies, and continually improve
- Is comfortable interacting with agents, business professionals, and members of the community
- Takes initiative and brings new ideas to the table
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, social media management, photography, videography, AI platforms, CRM systems, or digital advertising is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to create, experiment, learn, and help us build what's next.
