Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Broker Assistant role based in Charleston, SC. The Broker Assistant supports commercial real estate brokers with daily administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, maintaining files, and managing calendars. Responsibilities include assisting with listing preparations, drafting proposals and marketing materials, coordinating property showings, and updating databases and CRM systems. The role requires regular communication with clients, vendors, and internal team members to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up on deals and transactions. The Broker Assistant also helps with insurance-related documentation, transaction coordination, and basic research on properties, market data, and trends to support broker activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Experience in Administrative Assistance and Brokerage support, including scheduling, document preparation, and transaction coordination.
- Familiarity with Insurance-related documentation and processes relevant to commercial real estate transactions.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office, email, spreadsheets) and comfort working with CRM or database tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site office environment and adapt in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
- Prior experience in real estate or commercial property services is beneficial but not required.
