Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Foreman to lead field operations on bridge construction projects. This is a hands-on role that includes performing layout and setting grade with laser levels, and leading crews to complete work safely, efficiently, and to plan. The Foreman plays a key role in productivity, quality, and jobsite safety.
A minimum of 5 years of construction experience is required, with a strong background in concrete and structural work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily bridge construction activities as a working foreman
- Set and verify grade using laser levels and layout tools
- Perform layout for footings, abutments, piers, decks, and structural concrete
- Supervise and direct crews, maintaining productivity and quality
- Read and interpret bridge plans and specifications
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety plans
- Communicate daily progress and issues with project management
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, preferably in bridge or structural concrete work
- Proven experience running crews and managing jobsite operations
- Strong skills in grade setting and layout
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Experience working around heavy equipment and traffic control is a plus
- OSHA 10/30 (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to travel as required
- Bilingual is preferred
