Job Summary
ColdWar Industries is looking for an energetic, dependable, honest person with festival, market, or event vendor experience to help run our retail booth at several events during September and October and a few in August. Heavy weekend help is needed especially Sept 25-27 and Oct 22-25 (40 hours both weekends) with fewer hours needed for all the other weekends in Sept and Oct. Dates listed below.

ColdWar Industries is looking for an energetic, dependable person with festival, market, or event vendor experience to help run our retail booth at several events during August thru October (15 dates total plus optional more).
We specialize in alternative apparel, horror, vintage-inspired clothing, accessories, patches, pins, umbrellas, and unique gifts. Our booth is fast-paced and often very busy.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working craft fairs, events, festivals, comic cons, markets, or vendor booths.
- Loves interacting with customers and isn’t afraid to start conversations.
- Is honest, dependable, and attentive to detail.
- Can multitask during busy crowds while keeping merchandise organized.
- Is comfortable standing for 8–12 hours and working outdoors in varying weather.
- Can lift up to 40 pounds and assist with booth setup and teardown.
- Is comfortable using a square POS system (or can learn quickly).
- Has reliable transportation and is available most weekends in September and all weekends in October including Halloween.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Process sales using our point-of-sale system.
- Restock and organize merchandise throughout the day.
- Help monitor the booth to prevent theft.
- Assist with setup before the event and teardown afterward (only needed for a few dates)
- Work as part of a sometimes solo and sometimes two person team to keep the booth running smoothly.
Schedule
- Approximately 15 event days during August thru October.
- Weekend availability is required (Friday evenings needed from sept 25-Oct 30 plus two weekends needing thurs thru Sunday help)
- Some early mornings and long event days 2 dates are 10 hour days and 2 dates are 12-13 hour days.
Pay
- $25-30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Opportunity for additional event days in the future. Looking for long term help, seasonal and regular.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience selling apparel or boutique retail.
- Knowledge of alternative, horror, punk, goth, rockabilly, or pop culture merchandise.
- Experience working high-volume festivals or big events.
