- Oversee food preparation, ensuring all menu items meet quality standards and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Manage daily operations including shift management, inventory control, and cash handling using POS systems.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff in food handling, customer service, and food safety protocols to foster a high-performing team.
- Monitor food production processes, kitchen management, and ensure efficient workflow across all departments.
- Implement budgeting strategies and control costs related to food management, staffing, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in staff training, supervision, interviewing, and team management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
