Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using Clover system to ensure seamless sales processing.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service in compliance with alcohol regulations.
- Restock bar inventory efficiently during shifts, tracking supplies for catering events or banquet functions as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as bar and restaurant; hospitality background preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize duties during busy shifts in fast-paced environments.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring drink ingredients accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in licensed establishments such as nightclubs or restaurants; knowledge of alcohol laws is essential.
