Position Summary
The position involves direct supervision of workers and subcontractors on construction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and directing team members and subcontractors.
- Monitoring productivity and quality to ensure schedules and standards are met.
- Troubleshooting issues related to workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes, and expediting solutions.
- Ensuring adherence to company and customer quality policies and procedures.
- Overseeing expenditures to stay within budget.
- Communicating progress to customers and participating in site meetings as required.
- Operating various equipment and tools as needed.
- Determining material needs, placing orders, and ensuring work demands and deadlines are met.
- Performing site work such as layout, installation of wall panels, freezer doors, and other roofing construction.
- Communicating regularly with the Project Manager regarding project plans, status, and resource needs.
- Completing necessary documentation, including safe sheets, equipment checklists, and daily time and labor reports.
- Performing minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
- Investigating accidents and near misses, completing paperwork, and submitting it to designated personnel.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Five or more years of related industry experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in leading and supervising others.
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Working Environment
This job requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and fine finger dexterity. Typically, the role involves 10% sitting, 45% walking, and 45% standing. The work is performed both outdoors and indoors, in various geographic locations.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
