Duties
- Guest Engagement: Greet every customer with a warm smile and enthusiastic energy. Assist guests in navigating our menu to find their perfect ice cream flavor and topping combination.
- POS Operations: Efficiently operate POS systems to process transactions. Accuracy in ringing up orders is key to keeping our lines moving and our customers happy.
- Cash Management: Handle cash with 100% precision, ensuring correct change is given and registers are balanced at the end of every shift.
- Sales & Upselling: Use your product knowledge to suggest extra toppings or seasonal treats, helping to increase sales while enhancing the guest experience.
- Store Excellence: Maintain a spotless serving area. Duties include food handling sanitation, clearing tables, and ensuring the shop looks excellent at all times.
- Shift Readiness: Complete opening or closing checklists (depending on your shift) to ensure the store is prepared for the next wave of customers.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly with coworkers and support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Food Safety Leadership: Maintain a "safety-first" mindset by adhering to all health department standards. This includes monitoring refrigeration temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, and managing allergen protocols
- Efficiency Under Pressure: Maintain speed of service during high-volume periods (especially weekend rushes) without sacrificing the quality or presentation of the product.
- Station Management: Proactively restock flavors, toppings, and supplies. Ensure the prep area is organized and sanitized between every order to maintain a professional environment.
Requirements
- Age: Must be 19 years old.
- Availability: Specifically looking for candidates available for:
- Closing Shifts: 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM.
- Mid-Day Shifts: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
- Experience: Previous food service or retail experience is preferred.
- Professionalism: Must maintain a clean, neat appearance and high level of personal hygiene.
