Cold Start Ventures is looking for our next Founder in Residence (FIR) to launch and lead a venture-backed startup. If it is a good fit, we will get back to you in <24 hours.

At Cold Start, we incubate companies around carefully developed theses in healthcare and AI. To date, we’ve created $2B portfolio, with highlights including 3Y Health, Berry Street. As a Founder in Residence, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a company with $1.5M of committed day-one capital, and a tested playbook that has delivered a 6× higher survival rate to Series B compared to the industry average.

What We’re Looking For

• Former founders only – we look EXCLUSIVELY for those who have started companies before
• Structured training – rigorous environments such as consulting, banking, leading growth stage companies, big tech, investing, product management, or sales at leading firms
• Elite education – those with strong analytical and leadership skills
• Both commercial CEOs and technical CTOs
• Bias toward action – hungry, scrappy, and a track record of getting things done
