Compensation
The hourly rate for this role is $17.72- $19.14 The hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. Position Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and arrangement of event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and decor.
- Ensure that event areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing prior to guest arrival.
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their assigned seats or designated event areas.
- Efficiently serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Knowledgeably describe menu items and assist guests with dietary preferences or restrictions.
- Provide excellent customer service, promptly addressing guests' inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ensure the safety of guests and fellow staff members during events.
- Assist with post-event cleanup and breakdown of event spaces, returning equipment and furnishings to designated areas
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts based on event schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior staff members.
