Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Trailer Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll perform maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers, including DOT inspections, brake work, electrical diagnostics, and general mechanical tasks. Experience is not required, but candidates should have basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform DOT inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations
· Diagnose and repair trailer brake systems (air and electric)
· Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical systems and lighting
· Inspect, repair, and maintain trailer components such as landing gear, doors, flooring, and suspension
· Document services performed and communicate repair needs to management
· Keep work area clean and organized
· Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
Qualifications:
· Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on repair experience (automotive, farm equipment, etc.)
· Willingness to learn and take direction
· Ability to use hand and power tools safely
· Valid driver’s license (CDL not required but a plus)
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a variety of weather conditions

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
