Wire Process Operator
Shift: 1 day shift and 1 night shift available: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am (10% Night Shift Premium)
Job Description:
Wire Division - Receives raw steel coils and performs heat treatment and coating based on customer demands.
The process operator is tasked with learning and performing daily processing duties including but not limited to: pickle crane operation, wire coil banding, process staging, furnace operation.
Responsibilities:
- Control and review of Anneal Process equipment
- Locating and staging customer product for processing
- Processing the customer product through the various automated thermal equipment
- Identify variation between parameter setpoints and actual conditions for any anomalies
Minimum Qualifications Required:
· Hilo experience a plus but not mandatory
· Thorough reading and writing skills for process quality documentation
· Previous Anneal or other Thermal Processing of steel components a plus but not mandatory
· Favorable Background and Drug test
· Reliable Transportation
Job Type: Full-time M-F– some weekends.
