Cold Creek Nurseries is looking for an experienced Irrigation Operations Manager to lead, grow, and build our irrigation department.
This is not a maintenance management position. It is an opportunity to take ownership of a business within a business.

What Success Looks Like
As our Irrigation Operations Manager, you will:
Build the Department
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing irrigation team.
- Build the systems, processes, and culture that allow the department to scale.
- Create an environment where people grow, take ownership, and deliver exceptional work.
Grow the Business
- Develop and execute a plan to expand our irrigation services.
- Identify opportunities within our existing customer base and develop new customer relationships.
- Meet with customers, diagnose irrigation challenges, recommend solutions, and prepare proposals.
- Build a healthy sales pipeline and consistently grow profitable revenue.
Lead Operations
- Own the day-to-day performance of the irrigation department.
- Ensure projects are scheduled, completed efficiently, and delivered with exceptional quality.
- Oversee labor, equipment, materials, job documentation, proposals, and billing.
- Monitor key performance indicators and continually improve department performance.
Champion Technology
- Become highly proficient with our operating systems and mobile technology.
- Lead our implementation and use of the Weathermatic SmartLink platform.
- Use technology to improve customer service, water management, communication, and operational efficiency.
Who You Are

- Has extensive irrigation installation, repair, and troubleshooting experience.

Experience with Weathermatic or other smart irrigation platforms is a plus. Irrigation certifications are preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
