Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems ensuring efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration units to prevent breakdowns.
- Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service visits for appliance repair, equipment repair, and property maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostic purposes to ensure system integrity.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports for accountability and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in refrigeration, HVAC/R systems or related mechanical fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in property maintenance settings.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with equipment repair including welding techniques
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of field service procedures involving appliance repairand maintenance routines.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong problem-solving skills are essential.
