Position Summary:
Colcord Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Education Teacher to provide classroom instruction and serve as an advisor to BPA (Business Professionals of America). The ideal candidate will prepare students with industry-relevant technical skills, leadership development, and real-world application with Oklahoma CareerTech Standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Education
- Valid state teaching certificate in Business Education
- Knowledge of digital marketing, graphic design, and media production tools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to sponsor or supervise extracurricular activities.
- Pass and OSBI background check.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain digital labs, design equipment, and broadcasting technology.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty, administration, and CareerTech Partners.
- Participate in district professional development and required training.
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal education policies.
- Oversee and manage the school's BPA chapter, including leadership development, competitions, meetings and events.
