Shop Manager or Lead Finisher (Growth Path Available)
Location: Woburn, MA

We also specialize in luxury paint and stain finishes—including spray-applied lacquer, conversion varnish, and high-gloss enamel. We work with many of the country’s top builders and designers, delivering craftsmanship that sets the standard in our industry.
We’re hiring either:
(1) an experienced Shop Manager, or
(2) a highly skilled Lead Finisher who wants to grow into a management role with training, support, and a structured development path.

What You’ll Do
Finishing & Production
- Lead all aspects of surface preparation, priming, spraying, and finish quality control
- Coordinate with contractors and handle on-site finishing when required
- Expand, train, mentor, and support finishing staff
- Maintain spray equipment, shop organization, booth systems, material inventory, and a safe work environment
- Track materials, labor, and job efficiencies to support profitability
Management & Planning
- Schedule production, coordinate workloads, and plan upcoming projects
- Attend client meetings as needed
- Assist with estimating labor and materials
- Help refine processes, workflows, and team structure as the division grows
What We Need
- Proven finishing experience in cabinetry and millwork
- 5 years of spray-application experience
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret TDS and SDS
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to personal and team growth
What We’d Like
- 3 years managing or leading staff
- Ability to read architectural drawings and shop drawings
- Experience with spray-equipment maintenance and calibration (HVLP, air-assisted airless, pumps, pressure pots, booth filters, compressors, viscosity cups, cleaning procedures)

Compensation & Growth Potential
Base salary: $60,000–$90,000 annually (depending on experience, management capabilities, and technical skill).
