Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sandwich Line Cook & Prep team member to support daily café operations. This role is responsible for morning pastry preparation, sandwich assembly, ingredient prep, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake pastries in the morning according to recipes and quality standards
- Prep ingredients for sandwiches (wash & chop produce, prepare spreads)
- Assemble sandwiches and light menu items to order
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Stock and organize prep stations throughout the shift
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Support overall kitchen cleanliness and closing duties
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred
- Ability to work early mornings
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety knowledge a plus
Schedule: Morning and daytime shifts; weekends required.
