Tax Associate Entry Level-Bilingual-FT/PT

Overview
We are seeking new team members to join our growing financial services office as Tax Preparers. No experience is required—full training is provided. In this role, you will assist in preparing accurate tax returns for individuals and small businesses while providing excellent customer service. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual applicants are preferred but not required.

Looking to fill 3 Bilingual positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses (training provided).
• Review basic financial documents such as W-2s, 1099s, pay stubs, receipts, and simple statements to gather information for tax filings.
• Use beginner-friendly accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar programs) to enter and organize client information.
• Learn to identify common deductions and credits while ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines.
• Provide friendly, clear customer service by explaining tax information in a way clients can understand.
• Maintain accurate records of all prepared returns and client interactions.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on tax changes and company procedures.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts by informing customers about available tax services and assisting with bringing in new clients.
• Earn incentives and bonuses for client referrals or achieving performance goals.
• Assist with basic office tasks, filing, data entry, and simple bookkeeping as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn (no prior experience required).
• Basic math skills and comfort working with numbers.
• Ability to learn and use accounting/tax software (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Basic computer skills (email, online forms, data entry).
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple clients.
• Interest in tax preparation, bookkeeping, or financial services is a plus.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
