Main Responsibilities
- Setup crushers and screens to create the required crushed rock sizing and gradation.
- Coordinate with team to safely and efficiently crush rock.
- Adjust cones, bars, screens, etc. to filter and sort stone as needed.
- Downsize larger rocks with a hydraulic breaker so the crusher is not clogged.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Superintendent and Foreman for onsite logistics.
- Be able to trouble shoot and repair basic breakdowns of rock crushing machinery.
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience with crushing equipment, but not essential.
Skills
- Effective visibility: proven record to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
- Positive outlook with effective work ethic either as an individual or member of a team.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good organizational and oral skills.
- Ability to perform basic math.
Profile
- Must be able to pass pre-employment urinalysis and physical abilities test.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to bend, swoop and twist on occasion.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
