We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our retail shop team. As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries, and completing sales transactions. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the retail counter.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they approach the retail counter.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and help them make purchasing decisions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and operating the point of sale (POS) system.
- Maintain knowledge of the products and services offered in the retail shop to effectively address customer questions and provide information.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the retail counter area.
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the retail shop.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the retail shop's policies, promotions, and special offers.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide customers with accurate and relevant information.
