Manager - HIT Acute Care

Coker
Alpharetta, GA Full Time
POSTED ON 5/14/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/21/2026
Brief Description

The Manager functions as a project-focused contributor and clinical subject matter expert, supporting HIT Acute initiatives through direct project execution and clinical guidance. Leveraging a strong clinical background, preferably in nursing, this individual ensures solutions align with clinical workflows and operational needs while driving successful project delivery.

The expectation of the Manager is to drive projects forward through a combination of project leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and subject matter expertise. For the majority of projects, the Manager will take direction from the Vice President/Senior Vice President who owns the client relationship and work to execute on that direction in completing the project with the assistance of Associates/Senior Associates. In this capacity, the Manager’s role will be focused on client interaction, establishing the direction of the project, providing ongoing guidance to project team members, and performing the initial review of deliverables.

The Manager will serve as a clinical subject matter expert, translating clinical workflows and requirements into actionable project deliverables. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to assess workflow impacts, support change management efforts, and promote adoption and optimal use of solutions.

The Manager should be able to articulate all facets of the project and the rationale for work performed and decisions made. The deliverable coming from the Manager to the Vice President/Senior Vice President team should be practically in final form, with the final review being a formality.

Generally, the mindset of the Manager is expected to be one of “making it better”; taking ownership of their work, the development of others they are working with, and looking for ways to make additional contributions to the success of the organization.
