Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the women's basketball program
- Recruit, evaluate, and retain qualified student-athletes who align with the University's mission
- Develop and implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and player development programs
- Monitor academic progress and promote student-athlete success and retention
- Manage program budget, scheduling, travel, and equipment
- Hire, supervise, and mentor assistant coaches
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
- Engage in fundraising, alumni relations, and community outreach initiatives
- Promote a positive team culture emphasizing accountability, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Previous successful collegiate coaching experience required; head coaching experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in recruiting and player development
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to compliance and integrity within NCAA Division II rules
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
