Receiving/Shipping - Exhaust

Job Summary

This is a full-time non-exempt position. Hours of work are 7:15 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. with a 45-minute lunch break. Shifts may vary depending on business needs.

Reports to

Assistant Operations and Warehouse Manager

Essential Functions

• Assist with unloading and loading of delivery trucks.
• Stock received inventory in the bulk area of the warehouse
• Prep outgoing exhaust orders for next day shipping, including measuring, weighing, banding and foaming
• Restock cancelled order inventory.
• Organize shelved stock and maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
• Keep receiving department clear of trash and recycling
• Bale cardboard from compactor.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.
• Cycle counting of product for inventory control.
• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of warehouse systems and processes and math.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain grace under pressure and contribute to a positive work environment
• Use, carry, set up and climb ladders
• Operate picker, Forklift truck, hand truck, and RF scanner to move stock
• Seeing to read and review material for accuracy.
• Hearing and speaking to exchange information with co-workers
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  
  

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This warehouse is climate controlled.

Physical Demands

The individual will be lifting up to 75 pounds consistently, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner. He/she will may spend time using computers, so must have dexterity of hands to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.

No travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
