Plan, direct, and execute all plant operations to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads, coaches, and develops hourly and salaried team members to build a high‑performance, safety‑focused workforce.
- Creates clear performance expectations and provides regular feedback, mentoring, and training to support employee growth.
- Maintains open, proactive communication channels with front‑line employees to improve engagement and alignment.
- Encourages employee feedback and participation in improvement initiatives, including safety, quality, and productivity programs.
- Effectively addresses employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues using sound judgment and HR best practices.
- Drives adoption of new processes, technologies, or training programs by ensuring employee understanding and buy‑in.
- Champions a safety‑first mindset and enforces compliance with all plant policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of distribution, warehousing, logistics, and service center processes.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
- Proven analytical skills.
- Lean/6-Sigma training preferred.
- Work authorization: United States (Required).
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Operations Management.
- 10 years of ever-increasing responsibilities in Operations Management.
- Steel industry experience preferred.
Salary : $99,300 - $148,900
