COI Energy is looking for a dedicated Building Systems Automation and Controls Engineer to implement, manage and support the operation and maintenance of client facility infrastructure automation systems. By doing this, you will ensure that systems are functional and available while looking for ways to make improvements using the latest technology and best implementation strategies to take the company to the next level of growth and help combat climate change.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Integrate client control systems with the COI Optimizer
- Analyze and recommend improvements to system scalability and performance as the client adds devices to their controls portfolio
- Manage control system alerts and assist client operations and maintenance contractors with troubleshooting
- Oversee the development of graphics and reports for the system front-end, including, GUI and HMI, ensuring uninterrupted communication between the field devices and the monitoring system across a wide variety of client-building automation control systems
- Help with developing product roadmap for next gen AI for EE
Who You Are:
- 5 years experience with IT systems administration, network architecture, network communications protocols for Building Automation Systems (BAS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Experience with analog and digital control systems for facility infrastructure automation systems
- Experience with the design, integration, and management of SCADA systems technology using PLC networks
- Professional communication skills – in-person, on the phone & over email
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Coachable – accepts feedback and implements advice
- You’re a natural problem-solver and willing to take initiative
- Excellent organization & time management skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
