Title: Inspector
Location: Rhode Island
Job Summary:
ECTi is looking for an Inspector who will be primarily focused on in-process and final inspection of test probes and related components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional and data inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies.
- Perform mechanical inspections using microscopes, micrometers, gauge blocks, pin gauges, comparators, surface plates, height gauges, rotary tables, coordinate measuring machines, and roundness.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of all products as required in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
- Must be able to use and interpret engineering drawings and work to inspection procedures.
- Must be able to follow and execute verbal and written instructions.
- Complete assignments independent of supervision.
- Exercise sound time management, planning/organizational and decision-making skills.
- Ensure tools are accounted for and functional.
- Update inspection documentation as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Two years of related experience preferred.
- Inspection Certificates preferred.
Skills/Technical Requirements:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, color code, Bill of Materials and detailed blueprints.
- Common and pneumatic tools and measuring instruments.
- Computer literate with abilities in MS products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Additional duties will include but not limited to:
- Use of digital scales for part counting, labeling and packing.
- Use of internal business software (Glovia).
- Ability to perform light part count data entry.
- Ability to perform light inventory cycle counts.
- Ability to pull work orders.
Job Conditions:
- Works in manufacturing environment with constant or intermittent noise.
Physical Demands/Strengths:
- Ability to stand or sit at a bench for extended periods; bend, crouch, sit or kneel to work on a system.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish color.
Protective Devices Required: In required areas.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
