What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Data Engineer (Remote | Contract-to-Hire) position at Cohort AI?
We’re looking for an Associate Data Engineer to join a fast-growing healthtech team working with real-world clinical data (EHR, claims, etc.) to generate actionable insights for healthcare and pharma.
What you’ll be doing:
• Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Ingest and transform large-scale datasets
• Map data into structured models
• Perform data quality checks and validation
• Work closely with stakeholders on data requirements
What we’re looking for:
• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or similar
• Strong SQL (must-have) and Python
• Experience with data pipelines and data processing
• Exposure to Spark, Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Self-starter, adaptable, and eager to learn
Details:
• Remote (U.S.-based)
• 6-month contract-to-hire
