We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to join our Trust & Estate Tax team within our National Tax practice!
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
YOUR TEAM.
This position is situated within our National Tax Team and will focus on Trust & Estate work, along with the potential to help with 1040/1041 work as well. You will partner with other technical experts within the tax field and have the opportunity to learn and develop at a rapid pace!

In Illinois, the salary range for a National Tax Senior Associate is $80,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Review gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns for the T&E Group.
- Handle 1040/1041 returns as needed.
- Review fiduciary accounting for trusts and estates.
- Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients for estate and individual income taxes.
- Have responsibility for managing all aspects of client relationships.
- Manage a team of professionals within the group to complete engagements from start to finish.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus
- CPA, EA, LLM, or JD is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive tax experience with trusts and estates, as well as high net worth clients
- Strong tax research skills
- Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
