Director Of Revenue Cycle

SUMMARY:

Direct and oversee the operational revenue cycle performance. Provides positive leadership and strategic direction for the Revenue Cycle Division and the company’s success. Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, with the primary goal being to ensure maximum revenue for client partners.

This role will require travel within the client site network.

• Lead the Revenue Cycle teams to assist in improving the overall P&L
• Be the liaison between Cohesive and Client Partners overseeing the management of Revenue Cycle
• Perform management oversight on revenue cycle metrics – leading all functions for improvement and strategic planning
• Manage meetings to drive performance and collaborate on action items to successfully accomplish assigned task(s)
• Provides coaching, training, guidance and support to internal staff and client customer(s)
• Work with Executives to develop strategic goals, and key initiatives for the overall company success
• Develops, tracks, maintains and reports on KPI goals.
• Mitigates end-to-end revenue leakage through change management, process improvement, making recommendations for innovative software development, and advanced quantitative analysis on core financial metrics
• Leads standardization initiatives for revenue cycle improvements
• Manages the budget and assists in financial decisions of the company objectives for the revenue cycle

Qualifications (Required):

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of Operational management experience, and at least 5 years of leading Revenue Cycle
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience, as a people manager and a subject matter expert in revenue cycle operations
• Strategic vision in the excellence of the end-to-end solutions for the revenue cycle improvements
• Enhanced communication and customer service skills
• Be the change agent – establish common goals and become the thought leader optimizing the performance and the transformation of the revenue cycle
• Extensive Analytical Skills – Understanding of complex Excel and Access and/or simple SQL and Visual Basic are a plus.

QUALICATIONS (Preferred):

• Detailed understanding of the entire revenue cycle process.
• 3-5 years of management experience in a hospital and clinic setting.
• Detailed knowledge of system tools and functionality used to perform revenue cycle functions
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations.
