What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside New Business Development Specialist position at Coherix, Inc.?
The Inside New Business Development Specialist will be responsible for researching new companies in new market segments, prospecting new accounts, investigating and developing new business relationships with companies in discrete manufacturing and exploring additional industries for Coherix to enter, such as electronics, energy storage, etc. You will be responsible for the full life of the new lead. This includes making the prospecting call, entering information into Salesforce and reporting/tracking new business developments. Final steps include scheduling appointments for Coherix General Manager and Account Managers and scheduling demonstrations with customers both onsite and remotely.
There is opportunity for commission in this role.
Minimum Experience
2-4 years
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business related Field or equivalent experience
Required Skills - MUST HAVE
- Experience in prospecting with solution sales mindset
- Salesforce Familiarity
- Technical knowledge/understanding
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- New Business Development in Discrete Manufacturing
- Proven track record in sales growth, territory development and customer retention
- Consultative Selling - building relationships between you and your prospects, by asking questions, listening to their needs, and personalizing your product or service to them.
- Understanding of Power Positioning
- Skilled with probing questions and probing for clarification
- Skilled in probing to gain an understanding of the broader scope of a situation.
- Independent thinker, self-motivated and Customer focused
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Sandler’s sales process
- Technical expertise in Vision systems, adhesive dispensing, robotics
- Manufacturing or engineering experiences
