Production Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Correctly identify and build molds according to casting schedule
• Assist in building loads for carbonization kilns
• Assist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads
• Clean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure
• Maintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily)
• Follow standard work procedures and detailed instruction
• Prioritize in a multi-task work cell
• Keep accurate written documentation
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment
• Assist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads

Education & Experience

• Work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Able to get along well with others.
• Basic proficiency in data entry
• Good communication (oral and written) skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment, exposure to dust 

Physical Requirements

• Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds (or heavier with assistance) repeatedly.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility 8-12  hours/day

Safety Requirements
