IP Paralegal and Intake Specialist
Small boutique IP firm has an exciting opening for an IP paralegal to assist the firm in its filing, docketing/calendaring of patents and trademarks, as well as work directly with existing and new clients. An ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with either patents or trademarks and excellent communication skills when speaking with existing and potential new clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Accurately docket USPTO, Client, correspondence in the docketing system according to established procedures. Familiarity with Dockettrak is a plus.
· Generate and monitor a daily docket of deadlines and ensure that deadlines are met, and the system is properly updated.
· Ensure accurate data entry and deadline calculations for incoming prosecution and related intellectual property correspondence received from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
· Conduct initial intake with potential clients
· Obtain required information from clients and coordinate with our patent agent and lawyer.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1 years of trademark docketing experience required.
- Training is in person. Potential for future hybrid role.
Salary
· $65,000-$75,000 starting full-time schedule. Paid Holidays. Plus bonuses
