Lead Carpenter / Working Foreman
Up to $30/hour based on experience and demonstrated ability
Cohen Construction is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter / Working Foreman who can take a project scope, lead a small crew, solve normal jobsite problems, and keep work moving while maintaining a high standard of quality.
This is a hands-on position. You’ll work alongside the crew while planning the work, giving direction, checking quality, and helping keep projects on schedule.
Once you understand the scope and expectations, you’ll have room to run the work and make normal jobsite decisions without someone constantly looking over your shoulder. You’ll also be working with a good group of guys who work hard and actually enjoy working together. We take the work seriously without making the jobsite miserable.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong residential/remodeling construction experience
- Well-rounded remodeling skills including framing, trim and finish carpentry, doors, drywall, painting, flooring, siding, tile, general repairs, and basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related work.
- Ability to lead and keep a small crew productive
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong attention to quality and finished details
- Ability to plan ahead for materials, tools, and upcoming work
- Dependable attendance and steady productivity
- Reliable transportation
Up to $30/hour with a steady 40-hour workweek. Paid time off available.
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
