Job Description:
Cohen & Company Inc. is seeking a full-time, highly organized and proactive Receptionist/Office Assistant. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple departments located in our offices in New York City. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, attentive, an enthusiastic team member, and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General Office Support
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, including kitchens and meeting rooms.
· Restock office supplies and pantries regularly and preemptively, and manage food, beverage, and office supplies inventory floor wide.
Meeting Room Management
· Keep conference rooms well-stocked and presentable across entire floor.
· Prepare rooms for meetings with attention to detail, including catering set up as necessary.
· Book and manage meeting room calendars.
· Keep meeting room reservations current and resolve any scheduling conflicts that arise.
Visitor Management
· Register guests in a timely, accurate manner.
· Issue and track visitor badges and coordinate with building security.
· Greet guests at Reception and direct to appropriate destinations.
Mail & Packages
· Sort mail by department and deliver accordingly.
· Manage outgoing mail and package shipments.
· Assist with farm deliveries using freight elevator and dolly.
Office Supplies & Swag
· Monitor and order supplies as necessary.
· Order and manage office equipment as necessary.
· Maintain swag inventory and sign-out sheet for swag items.
Other
· Perform additional duties as needed to support office operations.
Requirements:
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Zoom setup.
· Ability to lift and transport items (food and beverage deliveries, office supplies, etc.)
· Demonstrates attention to detail and consistently provides exceptional hospitality to staff and visitors alike.
Additional Details:
· Must be available to work onsite at NYC office.
· Five (5) days a week in office.

Expected Salary Range:
· $50-60k/yr
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
