What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Investigator for Law Firm position at Cohen and Marzban Law Corporation?
We are a personal injury law firm in Encino, CA with an immediate opening for a legal investigator to join our Investigations team.
Duties
- Complete intake process in signing up new clients
- Communicating with insurance companies in order to navigate things like property damage, collision coverage, vehicle repairs, etc.
- Completing field work by taking photos/videos and going to physical locations in order to document the condition of the scene and meeting with clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies based on investigative results.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents and filings as needed.
- Engage with clients and witnesses to gather necessary information while maintaining confidentiality.
Experience
- Strong skills in legal administrative tasks, including drafting documents and conducting research.
- Good writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all investigations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
