Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including batteries, alternators.
- Unload Freight and rotate inventory on a daily basis.
- Building and installation of battery cables, accessories, and components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to complete auto estimating, ensure quality workmanship, and meet service deadlines.
- Maintain clean and organized workplace.
Skills
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for complex vehicle systems.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools such as scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing devices.
- Mechanical knowledge covering vehicle maintenance, powertrain components, suspension systems, transmissions, diesel engine repair, and vehicle systems overall.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and execute wiring repairs or modifications as needed.
- Strong customer service skills combined with effective communication to explain repairs clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and repair documentation processes.
- Hands-on experience with techniques relevant to automotive repairs when necessary.
