Senior Tableau Administrator
Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid – 80% remote, 20% on-site; 1 day/week in office)
Pay Rate: $55–$58/hr (W2) | $65–$68/hr (C2C/1099)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hrs/week | Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Duration: (12-month contract)

OVERVIEW
We're seeking a mid-to-Senior level BI/Tableau Administrator to administer and support mission-critical business reporting and analytics platforms. You'll manage Tableau Cloud environments, troubleshoot data & performance issues, and ensure reliability of enterprise reporting serving thousands of users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security across Dev, Test, and Production environments
- Monitor platform health, extract refreshes, subscriptions, and scheduled jobs
- Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, and reporting issues
- Support report developers, analysts, and business users
- Deploy and promote reports across environments
- Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database environments for enterprise reporting
- Investigate reporting data issues and perform data validation activities
- Monitor database connectivity, query performance, and data refresh processes
- Assist with SQL/SOQL troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Monitor and support Azure Data Factory pipelines loading Salesforce and source-system data
- Troubleshoot data load failures and data quality issues
- Support MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) environments and integrations impacting reporting platforms
- Collaborate with development and integration teams during incident resolution and deployments
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in BI/Tableau administration and enterprise reporting
- Tableau Cloud administration and support experience
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Azure SQL Database or similar relational databases
- Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and design best practices
- Enterprise dashboard development and analytics platform support
- User management: new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules
- Critical thinking and problem-solving for user access, environment management, and backup solutions
- Strong abstract thinking, communication (verbal/written), and self-directed work habits
- Full SDLC experience with technical documentation creation/maintenance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience
- MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) or MuleSoft integrations experience
- Salesforce data and reporting environment experience
- Microsoft Azure experience
