About The Role
As a Vertex Support Specialist, you will make an impact by resolving defects in tax calculations and enhancing the Vertex Tax system for new requirements. You will be a valued member of the Vertex Technologies team and work collaboratively with client key stakeholders and other internal teams.
In This Role, You Will
- Troubleshoot and resolve tax calculation defects in production
- Enhance the Vertex Tax engine for new requirements
- Respond to end user queries regarding tax calculation
- Ensure documentation is up to date and accurate
- Test configuration changes from source to target
Remote from the United States only
What you need to have to be considered
- 10 years of Vertex Tax experience
- Proven support experience in Vertex Tax systems
- Strong understanding of various Tax Jurisdictions and Systems
- Ability to liaise effectively with client key stakeholders
- Experience in testing configuration changes and maintaining documentation
- Vertex Certification
- Experience with Experience Based Differentiation practices
- Familiarity with Forrester Research methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage customer experience across all interaction aspects
