About the role
As a Test Data Management (TDM) Lead, you will make an impact by enabling secure, compliant, and efficient test data provisioning across enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team and work collaboratively with QA leads, DevOps engineers, and client stakeholders to drive innovation in test data strategies.
In this role, you will
- Design and implement Test Data Management strategies aligned with enterprise testing goals
- Apply data masking, anonymization, and compliance techniques to safeguard sensitive information
- Integrate TDM tools into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
- Provision test data using SQL/NoSQL databases and scripting languages like Java or Python
- Collaborate with automation teams to ensure seamless data availability for test execution
- Leverage GenRocket for synthetic test data generation
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize provisioning processes
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on data needs and solutions
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Plano, TX. What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8 years of experience in software testing or Test Data Management roles
- Hands-on experience with GenRocket (1 years)
- Proficiency with TDM tools such as Informatica TDM or Delphix
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for TDM implementation
These will help you stand out
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and QA processes
- Experience integrating TDM tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced SQL/NoSQL database skills for test data provisioning
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
