Position: SR Snowflake developer with Azure Databricks
Location: Buffalo, NY or Wilmington, DE
Experience Level: 8–12 years
The Sr. Developer role is pivotal in driving the development and optimization of data solutions using Snowflake Python Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. With a hybrid work model the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making processes ensuring efficient and scalable solutions that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate

- Possess strong proficiency in Python programming for data analysis and solution development.

- Have hands-on experience with Databricks Workflows for automating data pipelines.
- Show proficiency in PySpark for enhancing data transformation processes.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in data development and analytics.
