The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,848 - $ 110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Role: Sr. Developer
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence initiatives
- Collaborate with collaborators to grasp data needs and convert them into technical requirements
- Apply Informatica PowerCenter for developing efficient ETL processes for data extraction transformation and loading
- Optimize SQL queries to enhance data retrieval and processing efficiency
- Ensure data integration processes are streamlined and meet organizational standards
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of ETL jobs using Informatica Scheduler
- Implement Unix Shell Scripting to automate data processing tasks and improve system performance
- Monitor and fix data workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Offer technical mentorship and support to team members on data warehousing and ETL standard methodologies
- Conduct regular assessments of data architecture to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business goals
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and architecture for future reference
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data warehousing and ETL technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts and their application in business environments
- Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter for developing and managing ETL processes
- Extensive experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying
- Expertise in Unix Shell Scripting for automating data tasks
- Exhibit understanding of Payer domain to tailor data solutions effectively
- Display ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and onsite collaboration
- Bring a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in data architecture and integration
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
