As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions using AWS databases. Your expertise will drive innovation in Energy Supply & Trading Utilities and contribute to the company’s growth. You will operate in a hybrid model, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, implementation, and deployment of applications.

The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 – $109,000 USD, based on experience, skillset, and location. The role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses in alignment with company compensation policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust applications using AWS databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Implement best practices for database management and optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data security and integrity within AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and integrate them when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to business needs.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Support continuous improvement of development practices and methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AWS databases and cloud services.
• Experience in energy supply and trading utilities (preferred).
• Proficient in designing scalable, secure applications.
• Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends and technologies.
• Experience with ETL, SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience with Git repositories and release pipelines.
• Experience managing cloud applications; network security knowledge is a plus.
• 1 or more professional AWS certifications.
